In light of recent information concerning a coach of BHSA, we would like to share that your children’s safety is our utmost importance.
BHSA was not aware of an investigation into the coach. Upon notification of an arrest, the coach was immediately removed of his duties and access to BHSA.
As a standard safety measure coaches and players are not allowed to be alone together. At no time was this coach alone with players and was always in the presence of other coaching staff and parents during practices and games.

We are planning on going ahead with the season as of 6-15-20, there however will be some stipulations put in place. All registered members MUST READ and adhere to the BHSA COVID RESPONSE PLAN, AND the COVID waiver must be signed and given to your coach or BHSA official on your first day in order to participate. Both forms can be located in the DOCUMENTS/FORMS page
As a reminder the AGE GROUP you registered for in the SPRING is the SAME age group you will play come SEP. If anyone is unsure about returning back to play, you MUST lest us know PRIOR to Aug 23rd, after that date refunds will not be honored, also once the season starts refunds will not be honored
TO: BHSA registered members,
This is the latest news as of 5-12-20 concerning the Spring 2020 season. With much deliberation and with guidance from the CDC, CIAC, local and fed goverment guidelines, etc…. the BHSA has decided to POSTPONE the start of the SPRING season to SEPTEMBER.
Meaning there will be NO NEW sign ups come Sep, all age groups and teams that were formed for the “spring” will remain the same for the “fall” (this includes t-ball and baseball)
There will unfortunately be no Flag Football come this fall.
Due to age restrictions, players entering high school in the fall are no longer eligible to play soccer for Bunker Hill and will be refunded, please e-mail a copy of your registration form to start the refund process
If anyone would like a refund, you must email a copy of your registration receipt (yellow copy) to
. If you don’t have it, keep it mind that will delay the refund process. Refunds will take a minimum of 2-3 weeks to process. All refunds will be in the form of a check. Make sure the address on your registration form is legible and accurate.
If you opt for a refund, keep in mind we will not be accepting registrations come the FALL.
All questions / inquires must be sent to
and please allow a few days for a response
Thank you all for your patience and understanding in these trying times, we will get over this......
All the best
PARENTS WHILE ATTENDING ANY BUNKER HILL EVENT, THERE IS TO BE NO SMOKING NEAR THE FIELD, WE CAN NOT BE SUBJECTING THESE YOUNG KIDS OR ANY NON SMOKER TO ANY TYPE OF SECOND HAND SMOKE.
PER CITY ORDINANCE THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING ALLOWED ON SCHOOL PROPERTY, A LOSS OF GYM PERMITS MAY RESULT IF ANYONE IS CAUGHT SMOKING ON SCHOOL GROUNDS THE KIDS SAFETY AND WELL BEING IS OUR NUMBER ONE PRIORITY
To avoid any issues for the entire league, we are going to be tracking attendance for practice and games. Please, let your coach know if your child will not be able to make practice or a game or simply deny the RSVP e-mail.
To help limit the amount of contact teams will have on days other than game day, please have the kids enter the field ONLY after the previous team has exited. Parents DO NOT enter the field of play unless instructed to do so or absolutely necessary....
The COVID waiver needs to be filled out and brought to the 1st practice and given to your coach or BHSA rep. It is located under the DOCUMENTS TAB
Please have your child bring their own ball clearly marked with name, a white T-Shirt clearly labelled with your name (we will not be using pinnies), and a water bottle that is clearly marked with their name on it. Please make sure to have kids pick up after themselves, it is not the job of the coach or the city to be picking up empty water bottles.... Any items left behind will be thrown out.....
We are encouraging players not to bring a bag to practices and games, if it's a must please make sure the bag is labelled and spaced apart.
If your player is not feeling well for ANY reason DO NOT attend practice or game
We are limiting attendance to only 2 ADULT SPECTATORS per registered player. Masks are a must if social distancing of at least 10 feet can not be maintained. There are to be ABSOLUTELY NO SPECTATORS sitting or standing within 30 feet of the coaches and players during a game, if this is the case the game will NOT be played....
Throw ins will no longer be allowed, kick ins will be used
DIV 1 9v9 MAX
DIV 2 7v7 MAX
DIV 3 5v5 MAX (NO GOALIE)
No more high fives after the game is done, alternate methods of showing good sportmanship will be utilized
We are playing a shortened season, since the season is starting much later than usual
Goalies must provide their own gloves and alternate color shirt (any type of glove is fine)
Parents we encourage you to bring disinfectant to each game and practice and make sure to disinfect your players hands prior to leaving the field
Please respect the referees as this will be new to them as well, as always ref abuse will never be tolerated!!!!!!
Please respect the fact we are trying to keep everyone safe as best as we possibly can
It has come to the attention of the BHSA that some parents are not adhering to the NO SMOKING policy set forth by the BHSA. Just a reminder there is to be no smoking on either sideline, we can not subject these young kids or any non smoker to second hand smoke. If you are caught smoking on the sidelines or within a non safe distance from the playing field you will be asked to put it out or leave the area / park, if you do not extinguish the cigarette when asked to do so, the game will be halted until done so.
FOR ALL 5-6 & 7-9 DIV SOCCER COACHES, THERE WILL BE A NEW RULE IMPLEMENTED FOR ALL GAMES EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY. OUR GOALIES MUST BE PROTECTED FROM HARM, ONCE A GOALIE TOUCHES THE BALL REGARDLESS OF ABSOLUTE POSSESSION THE PLAY WILL BE BLOWN DEAD. IF THE GOALIE IS BENDING DOWN TO PICK UP A BALL AND A PLAYER FROM THE OPPOSING TEAM IS ATTACKING THE BALL THE PLAY WILL BE BLOWN DEAD, THE SAFETY OF THE PLAYERS IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN GOALS SCORED AND WINNING!!
FOR ALL 10-13 GAMES THE REF WILL USE HIS BETTER JUDGMENT ON PROTECTING THE GOALIE
Coaches please do not accept walk on sign ups.
BHSA requires all Coaches and volunteers to do a background check, please let Nick Meglio know when you have done this or if you need help.Visit www.cjsa.org click on the Background Check Icon located on the bottom left hand side and then follow the prompts
